Each autumn, as the harvest season comes to a close, Catawampus Farms opens its gates and its tables to celebrate the people who make our community strong.

Giving Thanks to Our Community is an old-fashioned country gathering centered on gratitude, fellowship, and sharing a meal with neighbors, friends, and families. Beneath glowing lanterns and strings of warm lights, guests come together to enjoy homemade food, heartfelt conversations, and the simple joy of being surrounded by one another.

Long farmhouse tables are filled with roasted turkey, fresh-baked breads, seasonal vegetables, homemade pies, sweet tea, and dishes lovingly prepared by members of the community. The evening is a reminder that our greatest blessings are not found in possessions, but in friendship, kindness, and shared traditions.

Our annual celebration includes:

🌻 A Gratitude Tree, where guests may write what they are thankful for

🧺 Food and clothing donation drives supporting local families in need
🍯 Farm market tables featuring local honey, jams, baked goods, and handmade gifts

At Catawampus Farms, Thanksgiving is more than a holiday—it is a commitment to caring for one another and recognizing the many blessings that come from community.

Suggested Community Donation

A suggested donation of $5–$10 per person helps support community meals, educational programs, animal care initiatives, and outreach efforts throughout the year. No one is ever turned away because of financial circumstances.
