Harvest Moon Dance

A Fall Dance would be absolutely perfect for Catawampus Farms. It fits the whole spirit of community, harvest, and old-fashioned traditions.

🍂 Catawampus Farms Harvest Moon Dance

Boots • Bonfires • Bluegrass • Community

Each autumn, as the fields turn golden and the evenings grow crisp, Catawampus Farms invites the community to gather beneath twinkling lights for our annual Harvest Moon Dance.

Friends and neighbors come together for an evening of music, dancing, good food, and country hospitality. Lanterns glow from the barn rafters, hay bales surround the dance floor, and the sounds of bluegrass, folk music, and old-time favorites fill the night air.

Whether you're an experienced dancer or have two left feet, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.

The evening features:

🎻 Live Bluegrass & Country Music
💃 Community Barn Dancing and Line Dancing
🔥 Bonfires and S'mores Stations
🍎 Hot Apple Cider and Homemade Desserts
🥧 Fresh Baked Goods from The Rustic Pantry Bakery
🌽 Harvest Decorations and Pumpkin Displays
🚜 Vintage Farm Equipment Exhibits
🎃 Family Activities and Children's Games
🪕 Local Musicians and Storytelling
🌕 A Harvest Moon Lantern Walk

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite boots, flannel shirts, and fall colors as we celebrate another season of blessings and abundance.

Suggested Community Donation

$5–$10 per person helps support educational programs, community events, animal care initiatives, and outreach efforts throughout the year. No one is ever turned away.

"Under the harvest moon, strangers become neighbors and neighbors become family."

All are welcome. Gather, share, and celebrate with us at Catawampus Farms.

And the image for this would be gorgeous:

  • A weathered barn glowing with string lights

  • A wooden dance floor outside

  • Couples line dancing in boots and flannel

  • Bonfires and hay bales

  • Pumpkins, sunflowers, and cornstalks

  • A vintage pickup truck decorated for harvest

  • A giant orange harvest moon rising behind the trees

It might end up being one of the signature annual events alongside Christmas with Santa and the Community Thanksgiving Feast. 🌕🎻🍂🪕🔥
